We have been providing consent and healthy relationships workshops since 2019 in schools across the country. This includes University College School, Hertswood Academy, Chiswick School, St Paul’s Girls’ School, Oxford High School, St Andrew’s Pangbourne and Haberdashers Boys’ and Girls’ schools.

We’ve also worked with older students at universities including Goldsmiths and the University of Nottingham, and businesses such as Soho House and Ambition About Autism by delivering consent, healthy relationships and friendships trainings to their members.

We are proud to have a 100% client retention rate.

In addition, Laura has lots of experience talking about these topics, including with BBC’s Woman’s Hour, BBC’s University Challenge Christmas Celebrity Special, BBC News, ITV News, most recently on 6th January 2023 to discuss her new tampon tax petition, the European Parliament, for Molly Scott MSP’s ‘taxation if a feminist issue’ conference, the United Nation’s ‘Girl Up’ summit, the LSE Ted X conference and the Battle of Ideas Festival.

Haig Howard, Deputy Head Pastoral at St Andrew's School, Pangbourne, said:

"Sex Ed Matters came to St Andrew’s on a beautiful sunny morning to talk to our Year 6, 7 and 8s about topics ranging from Bullying to Consent and Periods. This was part of our PSHEE/RSE course requirement and all pupils responded fantastically. Any stigmas were immediately overcome as the children (who were in mixed “break-out” year groups for much of the morning) spoke freely to one another and answered questions willingly within a larger forum.

"I thoroughly urge schools to invite Laura and the team to talk about these issues in a relevant and up-to-date manner – our pupils took so much from it all and we will definitely be inviting Laura back again!

Abigail Odell, Youth Engagement Manager at Ambitious About Autism

"We had both the consent and friendship and bullying webinars. Laura and Julia are incredibly engaging presenters. They specifically tailored their presentations for our audience of autistic young people, and were completely accommodating to their needs. They answered every question our young people had with thought and care. Each presentation was enlightening and a delight to be part of.
